How can I contribute to managing speedy deletions? Tokeamour (talk) 19:36, 8 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Tokeamour, I have to say I'm not too active on here usually (although I'm trying to be when I'm bored of editing on the english Wikipedia) so you may get a better answer at the help desk. That said, COM:CSD explains the criterion. I use Twinkle to tag things, mainly under criterion F10 which is for selfies and other personal photos of non-contributors (with no global contributions that are constructive). I find these quite often when reviewing drafts on enwiki, especially promotional ones and/or autobiographies.
I also sometimes use [1] where it shows newly uploaded files which one can check for copyvio by reverse image searching it, but it's still in development and is down often. The copyvio criterion is F1. If you have doubts about a file's copyright status or don't think that it is in scope, but it still doesn't meet a speedy deletion criterion, you can open a deletion request. For this I use Help:QuickDelete which you can enable as a gadget in Special:Preferences. HurricaneZeta (talk) 20:44, 8 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Well then wish me luck! Tokeamour (talk) 01:59, 10 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
